1960 Minutes

    The annual Vuncannon Reunion was held at Shiloh Church in Troy, N.C. on October 9th, 1960. Vernon Hogan, President, presided over the meeting and welcomed the people. He gave thanks that we could all be together again. Tom Vuncannon recalled some of the old days and expressed his thanks that we could come back to Shiloh Church. He said this reunion is about 39 years old. Charlie Vuncannon also remembered many things that he did at Shiloh Church. He sang a solo for us for the first time.  Hermean Beaman recalled experiences of years gone by. Mrs. Leslie Griffin gave us a report on how Aunt Flora V. was getting along. Thomas Russell received an orchid given by the Griffins for being the oldest one here. He was 78.  A moment of silent prayer was held for Jason and Aunt Mammie who was sick.

 A picnic lunch was held following the meeting.
